This is a drawing of a wine goblet done in 4B 6B and 8B. / Drinks Alive was inspired by my in-laws and their group of 8 or so friends who gather at each others house every Friday night, and have done so for years. This group of friends are an inspiration to me for the value of holding friendships over time, and the positive quality they bring to your life. This particular group are a very happy and down to earth bunch that enjoys a drink with each other while they chat about each other’s lives. The wine goblet here shows the essence of a social drink as opposed to the negative side of alcohol. It is happy, vibrant, and has a life of it’s own. It is this positive energy given off by the drink that depicts the social and enjoyable side to alcohol.
