  • Hit The Floor / by / Limp Bizkit / There are just too many times that people have tried to look inside of me / Wondering what I think of you well I protect you out of courtesy / Too many times that I’ve held on when I needed to push away / Afraid to say what was on my mind / Afraid to say what I need to say / Too many things that you’ve said about me when I’m not around / You think having the upper hand means you gotta keep putting me down / But I’ve had too many standoffs with you it’s about as much as I could stand / So I wait till the upper hand is mine One minute you’re on top / The next you’re not, watch it drop / Making your heart stop / Just before you hit the floor / One minute you’re on top / The next you’re not, missed your shot / Making your heart stop / You think you’ve won / And then it’s all gone So many people like me that put so much trust in all your lies / So concerned with what you think to just say what we feel inside / So many people like me walk on eggshells all day long / All I know is that all I want is to feel like I’m not stepped on / There are so many things you say that make me feel you cross the line / What goes up will surely fall, and I am counting down the time / Cause I’ve had so many standoffs with you it’s about as much as I could stand / So I waiting until the upper hand is mine One minute you’re on top / The next you’re not, watch it drop / Making your heart stop / Just before you hit the floor / One minute you’re on top / The next you’re not, missed your shot / Making your heart stop / You think you’ve won / And then it’s all gone / And then it’s all gone / And then it’s all gone / And then it’s all gone / Now it’s all gone. / I know I’ll never trust a single thing you say / You knew your lies would divide us but you lied anyway / And all the lies have got you floating up above us all / But what goes up has got to fall… One minute you’re on top / The next you’re not, watch it drop / Making your heart stop / Just before you hit the floor / One minute you’re on top / The next you’re not, missed your shot / Making your heart stop / You think you’ve won / And then it’s all gone / And then it’s all gone / And then it’s all gone / And then it’s all gone / Now it’s all Gone.

  • Sometimes there is humanity within abstraction. I’m not sure the proper way to put it, but this, of all my art, bears my humanity. It may seem odd that I consider this myself as other… but the it no rule dictating if other must be human, fantastical, or pure energy upon paper. I consider this to be myself, simply ripped apart and dug into deeply. / This may look like nothing, but it actually was one of the most intensive experiences I’ve had in the visual arts. I find a bit of direction and even peace in it, though its colors are those of anger and melancholy. I chose to post it because I believe in the soul of a work of art, and know for sure that souls, those not inborn, must develop by rubbing off of another through regular interaction – something can be the most magnificent picture/painting in the world, but it is as empty as laser-pigment on bleached printer paper if it came in a flash… likewise the worst image imaginable may have a deepness to shame the ocean if it was danced with for weeks, months, years… there is notable merit in beauty alone, sure, but a soul is often required to speak freely to others.

  • The earth is gushing blood instead of oil. Drilling for oil is causing the earth to bleed.

  • http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Taken while traveling to a isolated village in Nigeria. These people cause so much hurt to the locals. child sacrifice, although greatly diminished, is still practiced in some areas. They manipulate the people and use fear and superstition as a way to control the people and earn a living for themselves. I have seen it many times and their power is destructive if left unchallenged. Medicine and herbal doctors can do good. But Full blown witchdoctors practice dark medicine that only causes hurt and death, especially to children. As a missionary and work within villages, I have seen children demonstrated by people and in some cases killed. I shared Jesus with her, and she is now a Christian and we helped her start a new business selling clothing and other items. 100% of all proceeds from sale of art and donations made via our Charity website, goes towards helping extreme poor in rural and isolated villages in Africa. • The male drill is one of the most colourful monkeys in the world. When he is grown up he has a red chin on a black face with raised grooves exaggerating the shape of his nose. Also, his bottom is pink, mauve and blue! These bright colours help his family follow him through the forest. The drill only lives in three countries: Cameroon’s Southwest Province, South East Nigeria and Bioko Island in Equatorial Guinea. / The drill is highly endangered. A mother drill only has one young every six years, and a hunter can easily kill 30 Drills in a day. They are also losing their forest home

  • This is an image I did a few years ago during a massive sinus infection… I was looking for any relief for the pain and pressure I was feeling. I remember hearing of Trepanation which they used quite a bit back in the oldtimey days, where they drill hole in your scull to let out evil spirits and stuff. In recent days this procedure is still being used to increase your consciousness…

  • This is the giant face which is turning heads in the centre of Lincoln. The sculpture, the work of artist Rick Kirkby, has been placed on the large end wall of the Drill Hall in the city. It takes the form of a large metal face, welded together from small strips of stainless steel which will look out towards the main entrance of the venue. This wonderful sculpture lit with the lunchtime suns rays splintering refracted shards of light and shade all over the redbrick wall the metalliic visage was fixed to.
