  My good friend Jan is posting a trilogy of photos about how the great Australian drought has effected land in her area when I saw this one about the worst of the drought I was shocked and this poem came forth. If you want to know why Australia only has 20 odd million people – this is why!   A story in 7 parts [maybe 8 if you want an epilogue] / Please tell me your honest thoughts so I can improve my words! I was reading some of my old work and found this one drew me in again and so thought why not? This was just a bit of fun writing an Aussie Version of that strange bachelor show that the Americans did … the things you watch late at night in an attempt to be bored to sleep! It was just as the Outback Jack version came out and so I was relieved of needing to think I had a strange Idea lol If I uploaded a day at a time and make a kind of serial thing perhaps people would read and let me know what they think each day … a bit like how writers used to get published in news papers back in colonial times when books were scarce and expensive. Any way let me know what you think. There’s only a week of them – that’s 7 days lol I’ll upload them one a day ok?
