  • Dreamscape...
    by Basia McAuley

Where do you go when you fall asleep? I have also received the prestigious nomination from the ‘pay it forward’ group, from Mark Jones with the following words.. “I have a number of favorites, but this one by Basia is so Stephen King like and as I love working with light to create an image, it inspires me to try it, somehow. Dreamscape / It leaves you asking, “what is behind the door”. Sold: 1 x laminate + 1 x matt print + 2 x cards

  • Photographic based digital montage – 2007 (no 2 from series of 3 re-worked). Shot two seperate models & P/S combined them. I also draw in & enhanced part of the headpeice, the body, the dress, added a fringe to the face, hid the eyes, made the features more angular, blew up the lips, created cheekbones, reworked the branches, filtered wallpaper effects, extended the chandelier, added lacework/flower elements, desaturated the lot & added a sepia tone. Thank you to both models who wish to remain anonymous. Approximately 50 Photoshop layers. Just Sometimes (Song of Laughter and Forgetting) by Swervedriver – entered in Red Bubble ‘songmanip07 – Musical Photo Competition’. So many great entries. Regards to all for voting for this peice. JUST great to win the ‘photo manipulation category’ receiving an A3 boxed framed/mounted print of the artwork & interview in RB’s Bubblewrap. • Cello
    by johdie

    US$4.32–US$98.80

Acrylic on canvas. One of my favourite paintings. My mother had kept a horrible painting from school in the house and I couldn’t stand it.. so I painted over it. The canvas had quite a bit of texture paste already on it which made it a little difficult to paint over but it added something in the end. You can’t see it as much in this photo for printing purposes. The first photo I had up showed the texture extra severly, which made it look like pixelation.. so I tried it again. From a sad old man playing a guitar, to a young woman with a cello.. better off I’d say.. Reference

Check it out here! ** / Molly the Lil Witch, Oscar and Ophelia by Paul Rees-Jones The night was stormy and rather bleak, / Molly was a little bored witchy freak. She mulled over spells and warmed up her cauldron, / To create some friends to end her boredom. She delicately sewed a doll from rags, / Smiling and singing, a rather cute hag. And when she was done she was bright as a star, / Because held in her hands was the rag boy, Oscar. But soon she thought about the little boys heart, / To be all alone when his life just starts. So she borrowed small string of yarn from his hair, / And fashioned Ophelia, a sister to share. A spell and a cloud of nasty green smoke, / And Molly had made two little doll folk.
