  This was the original storm cell that passed out to sea off Surfers Paradise before returning for Marina Mirage and The Broadwater. It looke impressive standing on the beach with this just hanging slightly off shore.

  Returned to this spot for a quick fish approaching sunset. With the cooler days of winter here the bream are starting to show up in large numbers. It’s not a bad view looking across the Nerang River towards the Hi-Rises of Surfers Paradise

  Last one from today’s visit to Currumbin Alley. Quite lucky today, while lining up a shot similar to this I was swamped by a wave hitting the rocks behind me. Lucky that I had taken my cut-off rain-coat sleeve with me today after hearing about Mel Brackstone’s experience. If not for this reminder, my camera would have been water-logged. It’s a pain to use as you can’t really see your dials, wireless remote still works though – might make a couple of adjustments before the Summer storms come rolling in.
