This is my ” Dream Home” and has been for a rather long while now. It sits right across the street from my friends house, so I see it often. Some find this home scary looking, but I find it intriguing….very much so.

Click on the image below to see the entire artwork / Excerpt Two is a detailed section of the original painting “Finches On Parade” . Which is about the communal abstract chatter that one encounters when in amongst a crowd of like-minded personalities. / I have chosen not to emphasize the precise detail of each bird but rather their general shape as they caper around, to give the impression of constant movement. This is my wife on a water dragon that lives outside our house. I put hand-drawn wings on the lizard. The sword my wife is holding is my son’s toy from Crazy Clark’s. The two statues are from a photograph I had taken at Movie World on the Gold Coast – part of the Batman thing.

After a summer storm, this rainbow appeared in the pasture behind our house. My daughter followed me out into the field while I took a few pictures and then we both turned to walk back in. When I glanced back at her she was still peering up into the sky at the rainbow and something about that moment really captured my heart as I became acutely aware of how transient both rainbows and childhood are. Her reluctance to turn her back on the stunning beauty that was still suspended in the sky was a reminder to me that we must never turn our back on childhood dreams. / / Childhood dreams was featured in Rural America and Candid Photographs of Friends and Family

I am really sick of winter, however today I was in my yard and spotted a few blossoms opening up on the tree by the side of the road. I couldn’t help my self but take some photos and dream of spring….. The back ground is just the sky.. I actually have 2 more images that I also like so I might put them up and see how they go :o)

I found this pic of Meg and Zoe holding Axel’s hand and I couldn’t stop the tears. I knew I had to make something beautiful out of it to remember forever. In our dreams we can be wherever we want to be – I ache to hold my baby boy, to feel his head on my shoulder, his breath on my neck. In my dreams I can hear his wicked chuckle and see him dance again. The Door Imagine if you will, a door / There is nothing special about this door / Its white, with a handle at its centre / Just like any other door Imagine now that the door swings open / Revealing a field of flowers / Spread as far as the eye can see Imagine then that there is a path / Which winds its way through the field / Meandering here and there / With no real purpose And on the path is a gorgeous little boy / His golden hair is mussed in the wind / And his laughter rings out to you across the field You start to call out to him / To call him back / But he is on a journey / To places where you can’t follow Your heart breaks realising you must let him go / That he is strong and brave / Embarking on a never-ending adventure Gently you close the door / Knowing that you can open it at any time / To watch him, to remember / With tears streaming down your face / You whisper “Be safe little one” Inspired by the image Kel created for me after Axel died… (c) Sarah Moore 2008 Sold – Card
