Here, Scorpio is celebrating her power and freedom,after having killed her lover with her deadly sting. She looks to the owl, not for affirmation, but for new companionship. I started with the beautiful background of trees, and overlaid this with several layers of textures and colour. ... “In the beautiful forest an oasis of dreams / all sorts of creatures inhabit these realms”. – A forest is an area with a high density of trees and filled with creatures… All created in Photoshop CS4&Corel paint shop proX2….love experimenting creating these composite fusions…started with a background layer of the trees then added mist & the sun for a moody atmosphere then the bushes/trees/leaves with my brushes & stock photo of deer & Owl, generally tweaked it – about ten layers in all…such fun wooOOT! view larger 4 detail …finished late last night .. ...savethe wildlife .....
