The woks exhibited represent the linkup of two artists, a photographer and a sculptor. Such an attempt to blend two spheres of art is really innovative and a bit unexpected. There had been few who were successful in such an attempt. Both authors, blending their art by the means of the photo art, are the winners. Sculpture, as such, is rather a static art, sometimes “performing” in a specific, sometimes artificial, environment. However, the means of the plastic photography, seemingly, make the sculptures movable, dynamic; they make you feel the sculptures are moving. They become alive, start moving and react both to the environment and the views captured by the photographer. I would like the viewers also note the colour solutions of the photos, aimed at the strengthening of the overall impression of the imagery. The original blend and overlapping of two arts let see the impressive plastic metaphors, giving birth to various associations. /
My first effort at doing the ‘poem as image’ thing :) The poem is here on RedBubble. This poem is about my inspiration for creative writing, my muse. She comes to me by night. The demands of the day keep us apart, and I miss her…
As I awoke one dreary day I looked around to my dismay / The sun was hiding beneath the clouds / The wind howled ceaselessly / It looked to be another day to simply meld into the next / The cold wind chilled my bones and left frost upon my dress / But somethin else was in the air / a vibe I could not place / Somethin was enticing me without words or smell or taste / So out we went into the world to seek what we could find / And halfway thru our journey we gasped in our delight / For all around us we were blessed, as far as the eye could see / Butterfliez in all their magick / dancing in the breeze… All work (including images, and writings) copyright dimarie painter / / Click here for work details and credits if any apply… / Click on any category above for that genre… or / Click here to go back to my profile page ... thanx :)

I just lay here on my bed with an old notebook thinking ‘I want to write something about…’ But I still haven’t done it. I guess there’s still something inside of me waiting for the right time. xox

Thou who doth move my soul, / Verily I say unto thee, / Come hither unto me and lay thee down. Thou dost move the stars. / Yet thou dost still them, too. / Thou causeth the sky reflect thine eyes. Come hither unto me. / Dwell with me in this house, / In this bed. Layest thou down, / Betwixt petals of my tortured heart, / my tender soul, my gardens. Come hither, my beloved. For thy beauty hath no equal, / And my love for thee, no bounds. Come hither, my darling, / And never, never goeth. Thou hast caused me wax tears again. / Thereby, shalt thou know, thou art beloved. Come hither, thou, and lay thee down, poet. Thou art my beloved. Thou art my beloved, evermore…
/ This work was inspired by the wonderful poem UMBRELLA of the very talented artist ANAISNAIS / Thank you Anna-Marie for let to share this beautiful poem here. ’’ UMBRELLA / / by Anaisnais There she stands / Centre stage for all to see / Tall and slender / Precariously she balances. I reach out for her / Draw her to me / My hand skims her body / Slowly reaches her skirt. Playful fingers find hidden areas / Delighted her legs spring forth / Displaying the very beauty / Of her delicately placed, adorned skirt. Gaily she dances around / Dizzily twisting and turning / In the brightness of day shading / She gently tends to my needs. Personal ballerina takes to toes leaping / Merrily bobbing up and down / As emotional to her performance / Clouds cry a thousand tears for her. Reaching our destination / Slightly shaken, she leans / Watches me, / Quietly drips, against the wall. Reminiscent of the day’s fulfillment / We acknowledge one another, silently / Restful knowing we shall be / One, once more. ’’ I truly appreciate all your kind comments and support. / All Origional art work can be purchased through the artist. —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——- Copyright notice: / All rights reserved. Dedicated to my friend, Jordan Self -portrait I tried to capture the color of dreaming and softness of sleep that’s found in this poem. I was experimenting with mixing different mediums in order to get a certain soft effect. Mixed media on drawing paper. (watercolor and pencil) The Dream evening ascends the throne / and wraps the world / in violet silk, / indigo sleep falls upon me as i sail the skies of silver / and periwinkle dust / and glide on soft waves of wishes / that gently rock me / as my saffron thoughts / glimmer in the half-light / under a bronze sky of dreams then Golden Sleep envelopes me / with its silken threads of pearl / and in the evening silence / whispers gently once again / the name of the one / who hopes I dream of him: and I smile like a child / for my dream is in you Featured in Inspired By Poetry, Image Writing, and First Things

Well, I can name a million things that didn’t quite come out the way I had thought them up, so I won’t take up your time talking/complaining about this piece. I will say that it turned very similar to The Dream and I had not intended that. (Here, my thoughts are in the shape of butterflies.) / I just hope I was able to capture the sentiment, and that my message is conveyed in both my poem and artwork. mixed media- watercolor and colored pencil on drawing paper Pensando en ti (Thinking of you) see how they fly? my thoughts of you / make their way to your heart weave a net / with my heartstrings / and catch them as they fly by / they’re all for you for the feelings you awaken in me / feel like a world has sprung to life in my chest / and blooms open like a limitless sky - / catch it and keep it can you feel it too?

A coat of sunsets, / A last breath of summer’s glow / To wrap up autumn. I disguise myself / Living amongst the woodlands, / squirrels, bugs, birds, bees.
