In a place as surreal as this, its hard not to day dream. This was taken at an ancient, monastery which was destroyed by Henry the eighth once upon a time. Sort of represents what i was feeling at this time, not this exact moment but this part of my life. Stopping for a second, trying to figure out where wanted to go, how i would get there. Taking a brief moment to reflect.

They do not like losing friends and relatives to death and disease. They would love to be agile and move like they were still twenty or thirty. They are lonely because in death, disease and not being able to travel to friends and relatives. Thank you elisab for the honor of creating your dream…creating this really put life in perspective for me and I realize how short it really is…so here’s to living life at it’s fullest. This image I created for George (gemlenz) / George’s dream was for a perspective of the other side from life. I know from time to time I’ve caught myself day dreaming about how life after death would be…and never will myself or anyone really know forsure, but I would like to think that it is a beautiful and very surreal place. I hope you like this George and thank you everyone for your continued support.

This child watched through a broken window as we worked inside. It’s times like this when the natural, uncontrived symbolism of circumstance just presents itself to you and all you have to do is click. There was not pretence, no staging, no crap. Just reality. It still engages me now. Look at his eyes. What is he thinking? He’s aching. He is full on aching. How can I help them more, how can I help them more, how can I help them more… Please give if you can or pass it on to someone else. That’s giving too. All proceeds to charity. This is my ” Dream Home” and has been for a rather long while now. It sits right across the street from my friends house, so I see it often. Some find this home scary looking, but I find it intriguing….very much so.

Echinacea purpurea (purple coneflower) with a dark twist. This was the first of my Dark Dreams flower series, most of which I have pulled from redbubble. It was also one of my first images here. Obviously it was photoshoped. I get a lot of questions about why there are scratches on it, it was to give it an old aged look. The texture would make it a great canidate for a canvas print… hint hint ;) This is the original: / I believe this is the largest image in my portfolio, and that is because it was taken with my old 35 mm SLR, then scanned in (I have a really good scanner that scans really big) If you are seeing this image in a group for the first time, that is because I just realized it wasn’t in any groups! I must have cleared it out to make room for newer stuff. This peice was my very first one chosen on the Featured Art page and was featured in Ebony and Ivory group. Thank you! “

Here is a dream request I created for mlgkats / Mel sent me a bubble mail in the past and told me she loves to dream of the stars. Thank you Mel for the opportunity to create this for you and I hope I did your dream justice. And for the record, the background of the star trail is real…it is one of my very first night star trails I’ve done and I couldn’t imagine creating this dream without the real thing.

Taken in the bush near Alice Springs. Waiting for the sun to come up and saw this dead tree and just had to take a shot with all the colours behind it.

These autumn colours and reflections were taken at Oakbank, Adelaide Hills, South Australia, Australia, in autumn (obviously). I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D on a tripod. This is an HDR shot.
