This is my ” Dream Home” and has been for a rather long while now. It sits right across the street from my friends house, so I see it often. Some find this home scary looking, but I find it intriguing….very much so.

In a place as surreal as this, its hard not to day dream. This was taken at an ancient, monastery which was destroyed by Henry the eighth once upon a time. Sort of represents what i was feeling at this time, not this exact moment but this part of my life. Stopping for a second, trying to figure out where wanted to go, how i would get there. Taking a brief moment to reflect.

My rather late entry into the underwater photo comp (bugger)...shot with fujifilm disposable underwater camera..thanks a bunch to Michael for his help…scanned on my super duper new scanner, haven’t quite figured out how to up the res, but will replace it soon with a better quality image…can’t wait to get back into film photography / All images from this series here=

Echinacea purpurea (purple coneflower) with a dark twist. This was the first of my Dark Dreams flower series, most of which I have pulled from redbubble. It was also one of my first images here. Obviously it was photoshoped. I get a lot of questions about why there are scratches on it, it was to give it an old aged look. The texture would make it a great canidate for a canvas print… hint hint ;) This is the original: / I believe this is the largest image in my portfolio, and that is because it was taken with my old 35 mm SLR, then scanned in (I have a really good scanner that scans really big) If you are seeing this image in a group for the first time, that is because I just realized it wasn’t in any groups! I must have cleared it out to make room for newer stuff. This peice was my very first one chosen on the Featured Art page and was featured in Ebony and Ivory group. Title thanks to my husband… I was stumped and when I asked my husband for a suggestion for the title he said the daisies were natures beauty and shone amongst a gloomy winters day, which to him is the essence of winter.
