Irish Artist, Patrick J. Murphy, was born, lives and creates in Belfast and has painted and exhibited for over 15 years. When I was a young person I dreamed of going to the stars in a flying saucer. I might never get there but I still dream. This digital creation is meant to show a vertical takeoff and the reactions of the atmosphere to the passage of the vehicle. / I used Paint PowerPoint and PSE to create this work.

With this image, it started out as a photo of myself taken in 2006 at my mother in laws house when my Mallory was a chubby little baby. I had made digital manipulation of it before called, Fear. I recreated it again and resized it to enter it in a contest. I loved the image so much, I guess it’s because of the dark feel and color of it, I had to place it on a shirt too. It’s bizarre and it kind of reminded me some weird dreams I have. I said to myself, Only in dream, you would see this, hee hee. I hope you like different, because it’s definitely different.

I’m just transferring this t-shirt design here from my other RB portfolio. This t-shirt was designed using my watercolor and ink painting of the same title. Inspired by girlhood dreams of becoming a broadway dancer and singer. :)
