“Reverberation” ; ‘the persistence of sound in a particular space after the original sound is removed. A reverberation, or reverb, is created when a sound is produced in an enclosed space causing a large number of echoes to build up and then slowly decay as the sound is absorbed by the walls and air. This is most noticeable when the sound source stops but the reflections continue, decreasing in amplitude, until they can no longer be heard. The length of this sound decay, or reverberation time, receives special consideration in the architectural design of large chambers, which need to have specific reverberation times to achieve optimum performance for their intended activity. This is just a little collage I created using two images and several editing features of PhotoImpact11…...As this little Hummingbird sat sipping the sweet nectar of one of my Gladiola blossoms, he seemed so deep in thought as he watched a dragonfly setting on a blossom across from him….perhaps they both shared the same daydream…..if only I had his delicate wings…..if only I had his long graceful beak…...I think this image is what they shared – I think they connected on this spiritual level and I am so glad that I captured the images and had the inspiration to create what popped into my head as I watched both…...I hope you enjoy! / /
