I have the scanner installed and it does work! Apparently, I cannot press the scan button and have it connect to the computer, which is a little odd, but I can run it through Corel Photopaint and that is quite good enough! Here are some of my recently scanned doodle sort of sketches: / Shelba / Pugnacious Clarity Click on them for a larger view. I decided to go with Image Shack for showing such things as scans, because I thought it would be easier on me and Red Bubble to do so. Well, i hope it’s easier on Red Bubble, then, as it has turned out to be a pain in the rear for me! lol Anyway … I intend to clean these babies up, because scanning can do awful things to an image; maybe I’ll add to them, color them in different ways, etc. Haven’t fully decided yet, except that I did do a more colored in version of Shelba already. Not sure if it’s done yet or no. Hope you enjoy! Hey I need to get more of my work shown , so if anyone knows of any art shows coming up or galleries I should submit my work to please let me know. I know I need to get some new and better pieces created and this might just be the motivation I need. My goal for this new year is to get back into working color and put together a few smaller pencil drawing books…. but its so ^%!*#*( discouraging to hear from galleries who say they love my work but then int he same breath ask me what else can I do. As if pencil drawings isn’t art? Black and white realistic pencil drawings is what i do best, yet I am one step way from giving it all up!! I’m trying to get my blog up to speed on Blogger.com. A new idea will be a Daily Drawing, which I HOPE to pull off, if not daily, then at least a few times a week. These pieces will be available for purchase at a price most anyone can afford. There are a few pieces labeled Daily Drawing when you scroll back through my older blog posts. They are drawings that were completed in a day, not necessarily something I had created and posted daily. I had saved my old blog posts from my former Myspace page, but I still have much of this older material to repost. This may take some time. Needless to say, this really sucks! Sorry for the silence and not getting back to the comments I have received. I need your help! I just can’t think of a title for my last drawing! Does anyone have any good suggestions? / / Also whilst I have your attention I’d love to know which people prefer – colour or black and white? Although I’m quite liking drawing in colour I’m still not convinced that I can do it as well as in black and white, and as yet I haven’t plucked up the courage to draw any people in colour ( I think it’s a confidence thing ) does anyone have any tips on colouring etc when drawing people?
