  • The is the second of a series of design based on the idea of little girls getting caught in the wrong places. I am interested in the juxtaposition of different extremes, and the use of many layerings to morph different ideas into a whole. For this work, I have combined a drawing of a little girl with drawings of eyeballs as background. This work is done in Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Last of the sun over Whitsand Bay in South East Cornwall. This area is known as the forgotten corner of Cornwall, and as such has remained pretty much unspoilt. Most coves along this stretch of coastline are quite a trek down cliff paths to get to, but well worth the effort. Just reserve a bit of energy to get back up! Canon 40D / Sigma 10-20mm / Cokin .6ND Grad ISO 100 11mm f/22 ½sec

  • pencil on paper (Stonehenge) drawing – ORIGINAL SOLD So this is a take-off on that game of what force is stronger than the other, but it’s also a little play on those words. This is my wish – perhaps naive of me – that love is the force greater than all the darkness. His/her little face makes me happy. That’s enough. Since this is a circular image, it doesn’t lend itself well to a greeting card in full, but if you visit the detailed entry of it, it works really nicely that way. Here are some examples of some of the things available in full image: / Signed and numbered limited-edition prints are available at cynthia’s store

  • This is dedicated to my dear friend Chen, after a conversation we had this morning. To make “Fly”, I took the face from my pencil drawing Rock, Scissors, Paper / and made it the background. I used a purchased stock shot of the bird which I made transparent on each side to soften the entire piece. / I then stole the eyes from my drawing and dropped them onto the birdy.
