“Curl Up Time” is an original Pastel and Prismacolor Pencil and Pen and Ink Drawing and is another piece from my “Custon Pet Portrait” series. / Drawn on cardstock, acid free,low tooth artist drawing paper and sprayed with a final professional protective fixitive. This is “Toi”, he came to live on our ranch in Colorado and pretty much ruled the barn cats. He even helped raise two baby raccoons. Their mother was no where to be found. she’s dancing to: Grace Jones – Pull Up To The Bumper / medium: graphite drawing on 300gsm Arches rough-tooth paper. 300gsm is not usually necessary for a drawing, but I like using a heavy paper because it can take more of a beating, which suits the way I draw, i.e. hard and fast.
