  • Yes, before you say it … strange! :-) As of July 2009, this painting has had 5,048 viewings and has been favourited 79 times and had 194 comments, so I guess someone out there likes it. Many thanks for your enthusiasm. To be candid though, I’ll never cease to be amazed at its reception, as I didn’t spend too much time on it and even kept it out of my portfolio for ages as I thought it was sub-standard. PLEASE NOTE – AS THE PROPORTIONS OF THIS ARE NOT IN LINE WITH THE PRINTING REQUIREMENTS, IT IS NO LONGER FOR SALE FEATURED BY SURREALISM GROUP – 28th July 2008 FEATURED BY YOU’RE ACCEPTED GROUP – 11th November 2008 FEATURED BY BRITISH PAINTERS GROUP – 26th June 2009 FEATURED BY UNIVERSAL INNOVATION GROUP – 3rd August 2009 I continued this theme and did two more paintings: /

Another of my faceless Black Biro drawings. Developed a liking for these

  • Ink, pencil & watercolour on Fabriano Tiepolo paper.

  • Ink on paper illustration from a book I have written and illustrated. This character is largely inspired by Edgar Allan Poe and an array of depressive songwriters I have encountered.

  • When I was visiting relatives in Wrexham (North Wales), I spotted a stone head on the lawn near the library. It was decorated with mosaic. As I try not to plagiarise, I decided to draw the outline of the head and then draw it as though it was built with stones, sort of dry-wall style. As of September 2009 this has been favourited 37 times and featured 4 tiems, so I guess someone out there likes it :) I am now offering this for sale as view cards. Here is the photo I used for this drawing (I took it myself so there are no copyright issues) and I ask you to consider whether I do straight copies or, as I believe, I add some of my own style to the finished picture. • Walking towards the edge of a once flattened world, he realized his species sometimes need another consciousness which feels and sees the imaginary but possible paths living in more dimensions nowadays offers… That expedition sometimes requires to see things differently… In Einsteins world time is change… Nothing seems to be obvious. Although the boundaries of our imagination also seem to look quite endless I think it still requires more flexibility in looking at things to understand possibilities within change.
