This is a drawing I did of a dog belonging to a friend of mine. The look however turned out so longing, that I gave it the title “Missing You” – in such, turning it to a friendshippy gesture … I used coloured pencils btw, and Photoshop for a tiny bit of touching up…

Meet Rocky our German Shepherd dog! He is also my shadow, companion and is such a gentle giant. Rocky I Love my owners and lick them again and again, / They take me to the lake for a swim now and then. / We go for walks and they throw the ball / and I always come running when I hear them call! LJC I thought I would try soft pastels for once moving away from my comfort zone of paints after being inspired and encouraged by some talented pastel artists here on RedBubble, Lynda Robinson being one of them and Susan Bergstrom. Original drawing ink on paper / Layering and colouring in Paint Shop Pro Primary colours used in painting are a pinkish red called magenta, a blue called cyan and yellow. With these 3 colours it is possible to mix most other colours needed when painting a picture. These are the colours of every artist. Without these he would not exist. Black and white are also his dear friends!
