Juvenile artwork on a school wall.

This is … well, it’s definitely inspired by the work of several persons on here, and elsewhere, and because I ran into some glass rain drops for sale as tree decorations that reminded me of some rain clouds that are on a piece I have favorited, and .. my allergies to dust and such that make for strange dreams, and my son who loves black and white artistry, and looking at too many sites with party supplies, and … and it’s all jumbled up, on this “canvas”... It’s as done as it’s getting, but I’m not really sure what to think of it, just now. I have another saved version, from as I was in the process of creating this one, which I may take off in a new, but complimentary direction, later. And, for the record, as some people seem to have a different definition, when I say inspired, I mean INSPIRED, not stolen or copied or faked, but where it makes you go “Ooh!” and begin to create things for yourself. Sometimes they are similar in look, sometimes similar in theme, and sometimes so wildly divergent that no one would get how or why you were inspired by the first thing to create the second. If you have some other definition of inspired, that’s fine, so long as you keep mine in mind when reading into what I say!
A good look at the general “Who cares, let’s party” attitude towards the Earth’s overall plight. . . Pen & Ink and Color Pencil and Photoshopped Globe
Fractal artwork. Ultra Fractal.
Ultra Fractal. So I chose this title because was listening to music when I was working in this image, is from a Brazilian singer Marisa Montes and the music is called Amor I love you. It’s a beautiful song. / She sings:” Let me say that I love you, / Let me think about you, / It calm me down, / make my soul comfort / This help me to live, / Today I told to the walls / Things about my heart ….” Well I tried to do my best here to translate the song lyric :)

Meet Rocky our German Shepherd dog! He is also my shadow, companion and is such a gentle giant. Rocky I Love my owners and lick them again and again, / They take me to the lake for a swim now and then. / We go for walks and they throw the ball / and I always come running when I hear them call! LJC I thought I would try soft pastels for once moving away from my comfort zone of paints after being inspired and encouraged by some talented pastel artists here on RedBubble, Lynda Robinson being one of them and Susan Bergstrom. Pastel on Black Canson Acid Free Paper.
This is actually not an old drawing… It’s a photo manipulated in ACDSee – first through Crayon Drawing effect, then turned old and sepia. / Photo taken in the beginning of December 2008, with my Canon PowerShot S5 IS camera.

A sketch of a funny boy standing behind a wall (cause I don’t draw hands well – without tracing. / Used a blue gel pen on 90gsm purpley construction paper (about 50 lines). / Thinking it could be a birthday card but not sure what words to write. Any ideas. He looks a bit cheeky, so maybe for a preteen. Thinking maybe it would make a good tee, / What think thee? / Also maybe / background should be / Stripped away / and become white or gray
Buddha said: “I consider the positions of kings and rulers as that of dust motes. I observe treasures of gold and gems as so many bricks and pebbles. I look upon the finest silken robes as tattered rags. I see myriad worlds of the universe as small seeds of fruit, and the greatest lake in India as a drop of oil on my foot. I perceive the teachings of the world to be the illusion of magicians. I discern the highest conception of emancipation as a golden brocade in a dream, and view the holy path of the illuminated ones as flowers appearing in one’s eyes. I see meditation as a pillar of a mountain, Nirvana as a nightmare of daytime. I look upon the judgment of right and wrong as the serpentine dance of a dragon, and the rise and fall of beliefs as but traces left by the four seasons.”
Subhuti was Buddha’s disciple. He was able to understand the potency of emptiness, the viewpoint that nothing exists except in its relationship of subjectivity and objectivity. One day Subhuti, in a mood of sublime emptiness, was sitting under a tree. Flowers began to fall about him. “We are praising you for your discourse on emptiness,” the gods whispered to him. “But I have not spoken of emptiness,” said Subhuti. “You have not spoken of emptiness, we have not heard emptiness,” responded the gods. “This is the true emptiness.” And blossoms showered upon Subhuti as rain. /
