This is from another old sketch with some notes on what colors I thought I should use from that time. This lovely little guy was a tiny kitten who loved treats and chasing toys. I have been experimenting with some brushes I collected. I’ve mentioned them before in my other works. Natural media brushes from many sources, but mostly David Nagel. I hope you enjoy this break from my fractals for a short bit. Created from a sketch to simulate Acrylic in Photoshop, multiple layers (about 10 due to texturing), saturation and contrast.
Two cats prowling the night. Acrylic and Gouache paint, some color pencil, and finished with Photoshop. Painting on Strathmore Watercolor paper. 18” x 24” Original size.
