Ink on paper illustration from a book I have written and illustrated. This character is largely inspired by Edgar Allan Poe and an array of depressive songwriters I have encountered.

“Chisholm” is a signed, original, pastel and prismacolor pencil drawing. Drawn on card stock, acid free, bonded no tooth artist drawing paper. / All of my drawings are sprayed with a final professional artist protective fixitive. The romance of the West, Southwest and the Cowboy is a subject I always return to. I personally developed this sharp focus pastel and prismacolor pencil technique to make my drawings come alive. / My studio is located in Mesquite, Nevada. As with all of my artwork , my initials are on the front with full signature, title and date on back. / Thank you for viewing my art. / VIEW Susan’sGallery / VIEW Susan’sZazzle /

This is another hand drawn piece I did using graphite…......
8.5” x 11: graphite pencil drawing on paper. This is a fellow artist I meet on MySpace a few years ago and finally got around to asking him I could draw him. He sent me four photos in a series and this is the first. I decided to leave the bottom of the drawing unfinished. Not out of being lazy but I tend to like pencil drawings to look just that. A pencil drawing.
