  • This fellow was far from a great shot but I loved the wing pattern that showed up. Kathy and I were working on the pond we are clearing a new path to walk about the ever pushy plants and trees we have there. This flew up. I asked Kathy if she could grab her camera as it was out of the case. I made a mistake in my hurry to capture this red dragonfly .. her camera was on A priority and also somehow the anti-shake was turned off.. Its amazing I even got two captures out of 15 that you could pass for ok.. Only if life were perfect … Ya.. So I will share this for now see what happens.. Life is to busy and I want to go play with the camera but today its a work day.. Enjoy Put Nature On Your Wall

  • What is it is about dragonflies that is so fascinating and magical… / i mean, i like butterflies, definitely, they’re obviously pretty and all, but dragonflies, well, i love… especially when they hover, little hyperactive observers, busy with mysterious urgent business… impossible to follow… unless they want to be… Model: fetish_faery / Other stock by resurgere and adaae (deviantart)

  • I love Star Wars and I’m proud to say I’m part of the first generation of fans who saw it back in ‘77 when it first launched on the big screen. One of the things that got me most excited about Star Wars (apart from Princess Leia) was the climactic assault on the Death Star. Surely every boy who ever saw that sequence wanted to be Luke Skywalker in an X-Wing!
