This is one our local plumbers vans. I’ve been meaning to get a photo of it for ages. We went to the Henty Field Days about a two hour drive away and he pulled up beside us. My husband knows him and asked if I could get a shot with him in it. I think he was a bit camera shy so my husband got in the pic instead.LOL.

My Easter Egger chick with attitude. This was the Photo of the Week at Backyardchickens.com. :) She was just a chick here now she is all grown up and about ready to start laying eggs. She is one of my fave chickens out of all of the ones we have.

This is a juvenile and is a funny shot to me. I had been watching him since he was born and he is about 2 mos. old here and just started flying. He overshot his landing in the top of the tree and was trying to apply the brakes. Shot at Silverbell Lake, Tucson, AZ. I have so many shots of these herons that I’ve never posted and I will post some of them. Please don’t feel that you need to comment.

Well, I really didn’t catch a falling leaf… / I was in a grave yard shooting, when I spotted this leaf, not falling! I was taken aback, for a few seconds; had to look around, did a double take, to figure what was happening. I was spooked for a second.. Turns out the leaf was on the end of a spiders web and was just suspended, blowing in the wind… I dare say, I took a number of shots, till I got one that I’ve submitted here! I left soon after… Halloweeen is around the corner!
