Hello all, hope you are not feeling the pinch yet, but things are getting jittery. / Artists always have a hard time earning the mighty or even the humble dollar. / I am hoping for one more sale so that I can finally get my payment from Redbubble. / How about you? / My daugher bought a Buffy box set fron an online store, and it arrived in faulty condition with the free packpack with a hole in it and the box (tin) dinted, but the store has gone bankrupt or into receivership so she won’t be getting her replacement as promised…. / So go spend those Christmas vouchers now is what I say! / Take care, and bon chance with art this year…and keep the day job if you can.

The economic downturn continues to make itself apparent. Couldn’t resist to take a few images of these Mannequinns that are now no longer “employed”, as the store is closing its doors. Couldn’t resist thinking about how Von McKnelly would have enjoyed stumbling upon this scene, and what images he would have taken. Captured at Dilliards, in Chesapeake, VA. This image is currently on display at the Walls Fine Art gallery in Downtown Norfolk, VA.

I know that this image has already been used before in Dragan Masters group (courtesy of StockVault) however this face really caught my eye especially considering the current global financial crisis. Anyway – here’s my promised attempt at a Dragan – hope it’s not as feeble as the Stock Exchange!!
