This dog reminded me of Winston Churchill. I added the british air force roundel made famous for by the Spitfire. Considering all the elements it’s turned our surprisingly ‘fun’ in a vintage Mod sort of way.
Just a little play on the Crusades and our latter day ‘knights’ in the middle-east.

The eye is one of those universal images we all drawn to. When shown in an anatomical sense rather than belonging to a face there is a strange disconnect.

Vector translation of pen and ink, 2005. This is it. This is the one that effectively started it all. Before I made this one, I was just a doodler who really enjoyed his hobby. At the Gaian Mind Festival 2005, I was sitting near the chill stage when I conjured this. It immediately resonated and stirred this whole artist thing in me to such a degree that it can never be quieted down again. 02 isn’t so much of a title as it’s the fact that it was the second design I did in the first “series” of designs I was doing. For the longest time, it was just “02” on my computer. I’ve tried giving it a better name like “Jester Mask” or even simply typing it out as “Number Two” but it just doesn’t stick. Many people see a jester mask. It’s definitely the dominant vision, but people have seen many many other things in it. In Spring 2006, I made a tshirt run with Number Two that I gave out to friends and family.
