  • My littlest one, Michael~born with Down Syndrome and doing wonderfully! HIs 3rd birthday is a few weeks away…he is a tiny guy with a huge heart! His sign language skills are amazing and they are decreasing now that he is speaking more…what a joy! Do you see angel wings behind him? I know they are there!!!

  • Someone asked me for a newer shot of my son Michael the other day, so here is one from this fall. If you do not know, my son was born with Down Syndrome. At 3 yrs old now, he is a whopping 30 inches tall and only 20 lbs. He knows over 100 ASL signs and is speaking every day, more and more, and dropping the signs. He is a joy and a blessing! He touches everyone he meets with a smile and a “bye” when we leave. Without him in our lives, it would be so empty, words cannot describe. I have 3 other children, and we all agree Michael is someone so special, he had to have been sent to us with a mission in mind. He is my little angel and my reason for getting up every morning! Captured with my Kodak Easyshare Z612

  • This was created by my girlfriend, Sarah. The image in the background is of her new nephew, Aiden, holding onto his mother’s finger. The text in the foreground is written by Emily Perl Kingsley in 1987. Aiden was born with Down Syndrome. Sarah’s brother and his wife were of course extremely shocked and devastated to begin with. However, they are starting to adjust and are bonding with their child. The text in the foreground was written for parents who have disabled children. It is very pertinent to the situation faced by these parents and their families. I hope you like this and if you know anyone in that same situation, show them this.

  • This was a dipstych I made after last years Denver Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome awareness…I sent this out to all our friends who donated…was just curious what it looked like uploaded….a neat program, freeware.

  • Featured: AFFECTION…Sept 12, 09 / Danielle and Sarah are Downs Syndrome ladies and have the most delightful, infectious smiles! / Danielle (left) is my grand-niece and one of the most precious and loving people I know! She graduated from a main-stream high school, has a part time job at McDonalds and her adorable gentleman friend just gave her a “promise ring”!
