I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. Meldon Quarry, on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, Devon, UK Taken from close to the parking area at Meldon, this is a January view of South Down, near Okehampton, on an extraordinarily clear day. Last light with a storm approaching near Mannum South Australia. Image taken at the front of the Younghusband general store. HDR conversion of three images. Whilst the River is in trouble and drought effects us every day the communities along the river deserve our support and encouragement. There is still plenty to do and see along these stretches of the river. Tourism is often their lifeblood so with our sky’s and weather at the moment its a great time to visit.
