I have been waiting for this kind of shot for a long time. The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. La Rue Obscure is the oldest street in the old town of Villefranche sur Mer on the French Riviera, between Nice and Monaco. It was built on virgin soil at the beginning of the 13th century. La Rue Obscure formed the basis of the rest of the town’s construction on the slopes rising from this coastal lane. It gave inhabitants of the town certain refuge against possible attacks. The ship captains who were forced by storms to anchor in the bay, could make necessary repairs in safety. La Rue Obscure also welcomed precious merchandise, such as wine, in its cellars.

This is the second HDR image shot the other day on my girlfriend’s property.. I was inspired to try my hand at an HDR involving a dam after seeing some of the brilliant work here on the Bubble.. I think it turned out well and I liked how the image almost looks as though it is bent if you look at the tree line.. / As always comments are most welcome! Thanks a lot for looking! From this vantage point, the city is one mile away. He ruined 5 of my long exposures with his flash.
