Captured along my travels, a part of Victoria that just keeps growing. This is my kind of landscape, I feel at home amongst the concrete and grassland. Used an 11 – 17mm with the perspective corrected. A photo of St-Simeon’s pier, the most beautiful place I saw when I went for my little 3 days trip. While taking this shot ,a nice couple on a moto talked to me ,I ask for a little auberge to sleep for the night and they decided to invite me to their home. That’s Quebec,I would have done the same but it was a first for me…couldn’t believe it.I sent some photos by email and they were very happy. They are living at five minutes from there in a beautiful place called La Malbaie near the St-Lawrence river. The same day in the afternoon I took «Pointe-au-Père» and in the evening the sky became lavander blue,a real dream. / / /
Wandering along the shoreline of Lake Michigan in Whitefish Dunes State Park and Cave Point county park, I was listening to the thundering of waves in the caves of the bluffs beneath my feet when I wandered across this tower of stones.
I took this today outside of a post office shop in a little village / thought it was quite cute …..shame it wasn’t snowing lol lol
Olympus SP560UZ compact / f/5 / 1/640 sec / ISO-50 / 12mm A wonderful gate captured on a first visit to the lovely Chatelherault Country Park in Hamilton, in central Scotland. I’ve just tweaked the grey gate a little to add a little more light and definition, using PS Elements 6 and the handy tool of a Scott Kelby book recommended by the fantasic photographer Chris Clark Thanks Chris I really appreciate your kindness! For me its a one off and a bit different to the usual..so any feedback is especially welcome / cheers / ding / ;))

Best on Full Size Wandering around my cousin’s farm in Davidsonville, Maryland, I fell in love with so many images. This was taken from the inside of an old tobacco barn which we calculate to be well over a hundred years old. This image is a compilation of two shots, both my own. The barn image, RAW, taken on my Manfrotto tripod, was shot on a disappointingly gray and overcast October 29, 2009 with the Nikon D300. Shutter 1/500, aperture f/11.0, exp 0.00, iso 1600. Sky image, a hand held jpeg, was taken August 29, 2009 with the Nikon D300, shutter 1/640, aperture f/13, exp -.67, iso 400. Lens was 18-200mm vr Nikon in both cases. After the image was combined, I created an hdr in Photomatix by duplicating the jpeg to evals of +1 and -2 in Photoshop. Lots of Photoshop tweaking including addition of 2 textures.
