Because one day He will also left us. You know why? / Because, we the human beings became inhuman… / We lost our values, our soul, we forgot our heart(s)... / We are now violent, intolerant… Ignoring those who need us. We lost humanity. We lost ourselves. / The angel is dying, slowly but surely. / We killed Him. / Our nature has changed… NEW – 2008 Calendar is available HERE My gallery is Copyright © Wandering Soul. Weekend T-Shirt Challenge – Agent Provocateur / Theme: Your vision of the future Myopia is an eye condition also called near- or short-sightedness. Those with myopia see nearby objects clearly but distant objects appear blurred. Sorry to be all doom and gloom, but I see myopia as a metaphor for the way we human animals see with little future foresight. When we look to science and it becomes so big and powerful that we see it first over nature as our path forward, then we begin to badly play at being gods. Then our future becomes most uncertain. Even one of greatest scientists Einstein conceded that humans needed a whole radically new form of thinking if we are to move forward and survive. And I tend to agree. The heart holds the capacity for compassion, nurturing and love. And we always look outside of ourselves. Pack your bags…the end is neigh!

An edit of a photo i took at Cape Otway Lighthouse just of Victoria’s Great Ocean Road in Australia a few months ago on the 28th of February 2008. HDR’d in Photomatix from one RAW file . Found a pic of some birds i took at Elwood Beach a while ago and added them in Photoshop. Some tweaking was also done in Lightroom including the black and white conversion and above is the end result. The Lighthouse is just one of many beautiful attractions in the Great Otway National Park. CAPE Otway Lightstation is the oldest, surviving lighthouse in mainland Australia. The light, which has been in continuous operation since 1848, is perched on towering sea cliffs where Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean collide. For thousands of immigrants, after many months at sea, Cape Otway was their first sight of land after leaving Europe. For those interested this is the original image: Click here for my other images of Victoria This is what it would look like as a medium mounted print with my details:

The iron lighthouse was built in 1871 and was originally located at the entrance to Ulladulla harbour. The first Lighthouse keeper was William Gambell, an ex-sea captain who lived with his wife and family in a slab house on the beach. The lighthouse was re-erected to Ulladulla’s south headland – Warden’s Head in 1889.

See Satellite Town to read of my passion for space art. I could have called this White Elephant becasue it became an expensive embarassment to the Government before and after it’s building in London. As it looks a bit like a flying saucer, and, as a bit of fun, I thought I’d portray it having a fitting end. On the other hand perhaps the space ship is looking for a mate. there is still hope the dome will pay it’s way some day. Actuall it did in one of my books. I have to admit that most of my space scenes have a bit of fun in them. The original picture is in acrylics and 20” x 16”.
