A photoshop stained glass rendering of Picasso’s Don Quixote
Apologies to Messrs Picasso and Disney. / After I did Picasso’s Don Quixote I felt the Windmill deserved some attention. / After a long career of knocking them down, I figured I’d give Don a shot.
Don Quixote met the wind mills. He insists on attacking them since he thinks they are giant evildoers, as consequence Don Quixote encounters over its lance and it falls to is accustomed to finishing therefore the problem of the mills, or giants as it continued affirming Don Quixote…

Dedicated to the Spanish legend Don Quixote. This is for his new fans, who he is, where he came from and who is his creator are complete on this poster with street art style.
Cervantes is for the ages and so many people have not taken the time to read this incredible tale of Don Quixote better in Spanish not bad in translations. Cervantes was a contemporary of Shakespeare they died days apart but not on the same day without Shakespeare what would English be without Cervantes what would novels be. And if you accept each day as just another day well you’ve missed the point life is a one time adventure. On any given day someone might need just the right “I am thinking of you” or “The challenges maybe insurmountable if you think you can’t.” Windmills are not always dragons they may just be only windmills but sometimes I swear they are dragons that need just a reminder from someone…to shout out at the dragons “Hey I see them too.” This is me and hopefully you too.
Orson Welles worked continuously on his film adaptation of Cervantes’ Don Quixote from 1955 until the day he died, on October 10th, 1985. He was also one of the greatest artists of the 20th Century. Always ‘tilting at windmills,’ and such … which is really what it’s all about, isn’t it? Welles’ Bio Unfortunately, this is just about the best photo I could take of the painting. The glare was unavoidable. Although, truthfully, I’m kind of glad it’s there. Shows that this is a physical object, an honest to god painting. Now, if I could just get that damn digital camera to stop subtly distorting these images, I might not dread having to snap these so much. Oils on 16” x 20” canvas. Original: SOLD

Featured in Windmills, Watermills and Ferris Wheels * / . / It is a quite common sight in spring around here. This huge wind turbines are everywhere as there is some wind most of the time, even if it is only a breeze. Standing at the foot of theses “giants” everything reminded me of Don Quixote. Rape seed fields are great for taking photos, I think. Here I liked the clear colours of red, blue, white and yellow working together to create this sight. I hope you like it, too. PP: straightened, adjusted contrasts and sharpness slightly. Taken in northern Germany, Deinste to be exact.
“The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha”) is a novel written by Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes. ...” Alonso Quixano, a retired country gentleman in his fifties, lives in an unnamed section of La Mancha with his niece and a housekeeper. He has become obsessed with books of chivalry, and believes their every word to be true…. He decides to go out as a knight-errant in search of adventure. He dons an old suit of armor, renames himself “Don Quixote de la Mancha,” and names his skinny horse “Rocinante.” He designates a neighboring farm girl, Aldonza Lorenzo, as his lady love, renaming her Dulcinea del Toboso, while she knows nothing about this. Eventually, he “acquires” his iconic “helmet.”...Don Quixote approaches another neighbour, Sancho Panza, and asks him to be his squire, promising him governorship of an island. The dull-witted Sancho agrees, and the pair sneak off in the early dawn. It is here that their series of famous adventures begin, starting with Don Quixote’s attack on windmills that he believes to be ferocious giants”. ...La Musica a first experimental digital painting inspired by the Book by Miguel Cervantes…using a TaletAIPTEK’ painted the Windmill of La Mancha put thru’ redfield fractalius, an apophysis of the Characters& a moon I created in lunar cell..woot! wot FuN lol! ..featured in ‘First things’ ...
My interpetation of the classic story of Don Quixote aka Man Of La Mancha(one of my fave musicals) I’ve shown him pining for his “Dulcinea”(instead of tilting at a windmill)
