  • Silver Gelatin Print Domestic Occult refers to the supernatural practices within reach of the average home dweller. These are practices for which women once were burnt, and yet they seem to feed on (or provide food) for a deep part of our collective psyche. Shrew Stone is crystal ball gazing. A candle is traditionally lit for this type of fortune telling. The upturned tea cup represents the future which is hidden; if only you knew how to turn it over what wonders you might see… 1/5 3 in series of 5

Fowl Deeds springs out the domestic uses of chickens in divination and spirit summoning. It is believed that a powerful entity can be summed by using the blood of a virgin chicken at the crossroads, at midnight on a night of ultimate power. Does it work? I don’t know. • Not a house – but my idea of an ideal home.

  • AND!!! I didn’t even know what I was going to wear! I don’t know what takes other women so long to get dressed. Someone will have to clue me in, I suppose. Of course, I didn’t shave my legs and my hair is short. Perhaps long hair and smooth legs would have added another 30 minutes??? I have decided that I love thick mascara. This is an issue for me because my mother was not only against me wearing makeup as a teen, but made it very clear that only harlots wore heavy mascara. I have decided to outgrow that thought and start caking on the mascara. Don’t hate me, but I already have long eyelashes. My problem is that I wear glasses (all the time), so they are hidden behind thick spheres of plastic. Since I started playing around with makeup, I found that putting the mascara on a little thicker really brings them out. My interest in the black gold is slowly turning into a passion for thick, beautiful eyelashes. I find myself paying close attention to mascara commercials and wishing the product wasn’t so damn expensive! I may even try out some fake lashes. Not because I need longer or thicker ones, but just because I have never donned a pair. Of course, that would mean a trip to the mall and my car is hibernating for the winter, so fake lashes will have to wait until the snow melts. That should be in about 2 months.

  • This gallery is an exhibition based on Domestic Violence, specifically Emotional Abuse. It was done as a senior thesis and has since been used as an educational tool by the local Domestic Violence Shelters in my area.

  • This gorgeous lop-eared rabbit image was captured as he was enjoying a sunny day under the shade of a Japanese Maple tree. / He appeared to be thoroughly content with his freedom from the hutch. / Whilst he was lazing under the tree, he was watching his Jack Russell Terrier best friend play – running after a frisbee.
