  Molly and Mikey received many toys and books for Christmas. The weenie babies were the hit of the party. Molly was also excited about the books since we read to her before she goes to bed. Dogzilla or Catzilla, whatever your preference are great books for dogs or children with enough amusing and frighting images of Dogzilla to capture the imagination without being too scary for young dogs or children. I love children’s books and Dogzilla is a great spin off of the Japanese monster, Godzilla, an icon of science fiction films. This photograph shows Molly’s Dad reading her Godzilla, her bedtime story after a long day of opening her gifts. She loves to cuddle up and look at the pictures. The only problem is that Daddy falls asleep before Molly. Mikey is in the background enjoying his assortment of dog chews.

  If a narrative is cut off, I also put it in the writing section. / Our dog Molly has developed a passion for reading. Children learn to simultaneously process information using auditory, visual and perceptual stimuli. Raised on multi-media like television, video games and movies, their brains process information differently than their parents who often don’t understand their culture and its importance for peer group recognition. Many of the video games are RPG (role playing games) that involve many aspects of learning. Their parents often raised on print media have trouble understanding their children’s fascination with cyberspace where children connect with peers. Some believe that video games are a mind numbing escape. Many video games are analogous to electronic fairy tales with themes of mythology, folklore and ancient civilizations. The music is an ecletic mix of jazz, techno, pop, rock and classical music. We saw the first video game concert played on American soil conducted by the Los Angeles Philharmonic to launch their new venue, the Walt Disney Concert Hall designed by the esteemed and unique architect Frank Gehry. Large screens played the songs beautifully paired with the stunning graphics of the Final Fantasy Series. The video game medium has evolved tremendously since Pong was introduced in the 1970’s. I use computer and video technology in my work with children who master many levels of this challenging medium. Since I have bought every system and played from the early years of Nintendo to Xbox, Playstation I, II and III and the Nintendo Wii that introduced innovative technology to involve the players in the game. Pulling the plug and telling your child he can’t play despite the fact that he has finished his homework is analogous to pulling Tolkein’s Lord of the Rings out of the hands of children of our generation who were engrossed in fantasy worlds with unique characters. Appropriate boundaries are set for any activity that disrupts a child’s education, but this probably won’t be needed by healthy children who are involved in many activities with peers like soccer, basketball and other sports. Putting a rating of M for mature rating ensures that the kids will know the cool games. If you think about this issue, you would conclude that the most violent scenes are on the News and everything else pales in comparison. Molly loves reading with her Daddy and every month, we buy her a new book before we turn out the lights at bedtime. Her favorites books are Dogzilla, The Giving Tree, Curious George and Brian Froud’s Goblins. She is now reading a parady of the wonderful book, Goodight Moon. This book is great for all ages and I will upload a photo of her delight in reading this “amazing book.” / Please view this in the larger format.

  Hi guys I just found out I sold another Dogzilla Get Down ya mongrel! and another iNinja card just walked out! don’t forget it’s in tee form also guys. Yeah so someone smart has a smart card for one of their dumb friends. Was that mean? Cool! :D I’m so happy! Tears are running down my face! Oh wait…...no it’s sweat. I was close! Hey does anybody know of an online 2 megapixel gallery that I can put my photos up onto? They are pretty much useless on here right? I want to create art with my camera but its only 2 mp. I still love my little camera and I want it to have a useful existence. I’m not ready to drop it like a school port just yet. Any ideas?
