There is a God and He/She does great work.
All together now…. Ahhhh!!
The Crossing is wet and cold she does not like the water. The current pushes her downstream she uses her strength and determination, she must get to the other side, her people are there. In our dogs we are blessed with the great love and loyalty, all given unconditionally.

Lexie is one of our wonderful children. She stopped to cool off here while she watched the other canine children head around the other end of the pond after a pair of coyotes.

This young German Shepherd, named Fuzzy, was just over two when I was commissioned to do this portrait. He was a scary dog that was tearing at the fence to get to us but he was oddly afraid of my camera. When I got it out he ran and hid! It took a zoom lens to photograph him for this portrait. This is a graphite sketch on 11” x 14” 400series medium 80lb. drawing paper and took me one evening to do. Created by Linda Costello Hinchey of SW Virginia. This commission is used for our poster/print and is exclusively from the fine art studios of CHSTUDIOS.NET from a portrait commission. / —-—-—-—-— / Featured in… / Cats and Dogs Challenges: / Cats & Dogs- Top Ten Challenge Oct ‘09
Photograph taken by Linda Costello Hinchey on a glaring bright wintery day here in the Appalachian Mnts of Virginia. I was just certain none of my shots would turn out because it was so bright. But, as luck would have it… And even better, you can even see tiny little snowflakes mixed with her old grey beard. This image is used for our poster/print and is exclusively from the fine art studios of CHSTUDIOS.NET from a portrait commission. This is a formally rescued black & white Border Collie and Australian Shepherd mix. R.I.P. sweet Crowe Bird.
