  • CHRISTMAS CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hee hee, Elly sums up everything about Christmas. Loyalty, love, companionship, faith, hope and most of all fun!!!!! Merry Christmas!! And by the looks of it, over-indulging… Elly’s made a lot of people smile in her time. Why not share the love :) Here’s her in poster/larger format. And with her mates :) And my precious girl. – Dog photography – Africa photography / - Beach photography - Black & white photography

  • Our golden retriever, Abby Rose, sits in a garden of delights… butterflies, flowers and the two words she loves to hear most—GOOD DOG! Original is mixed media. It was created using Prismacolor pencils for the dog’s portrait and the garden. The garden was then beaded with dried flowers, a multitude of bugle beads, and Swarovski crystals.

  • This is the only time this dog isn’t costing me money. Unless of course she’s destroying, eating & chewing things telepathically… :) This is of course the matching shot to this /

  • “abby’s dream” has a lot to do with my childhood. i grew up out in the desert looking out the window at the country side many times. i remember staring at the woodgrain on the walls and the closets. tracing the shapes and lines. i would imagine they were objects, like you would in a cloud. for abby she is dreaming of birds. the ravens taunt her, in her old house out in the desert.

  • Black Labrador Retriever / Acrylic on canvas / 9×12 inches

  • This is my brother’s dog and she is a 10 year old golden retriever. She is such a sweetie and what poses she had for me. She is such a sweet dog and now showing signs of aging not only on her cute face, but has hip dysplasia. Such great moments to catch since they are like family. This was caught at our families beach house over the 4th of July as she was soaking some rays by the door.

  • Kalika after swimming in Lake Mohave – she was wet the entire vacation.

  • this was taken down at Cherry Beach, Toronto with the Canon on a long zoom of Niko enjoying the lake August 17/08

  • 11/7/08 Featured Photo and Top Ten in Man’s Best Friend – The eyes of the friend challenge. A picture our our puppy Sienna snuggling with Bobby the day we picked her up to go home. She was so afraid, I think she wanted to stay with her real mommy! 8/2/08 FEARFUL – THE RIDE HOME! /

  • A silhouette of Sienna watching chippy through our glass patio door. A typical weekend morning at my back door. Our poor chocolate lab Sienna sits and watches the chipmunks and squirrels stealing nuts. I don’t know if Sienna loves weekends or if it’s torture! Taken 8/31/08 at my back door, Clarks Valley, PA

  • My Mum’s wonderful, gentle natured Golden Retriever ‘Gunner’ – taken as he looks at her adoringly! x Gunner – very inappropriately named by the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association from which he came as an 18 month old ‘reject’. He had failed to make the required standard to be a fully fledged ‘Seeing Eye Dog’ as he proved to be terrified by loud noises. Mum adopted him and he is now relaxed and content beyond belief! /

  • Original digital photograph. / Taken with a Sony Full HD 1080 Cyber Shot camera. Just playing with Kaya! / Kaya is a rescued pet and came from the humane society in Utah. Our Daughter and son in-law got her as a puppy and she is a very happy dog now as you can see…LOVES to have her picture taken! Thank You for viewing my art. • Taken this summer in the evening light. The dogs were watching the kids in the water. They both just looked so intent on not missing a moment of what was going on. Shot with Minolta DiMage Z2 auto settings. Boone is a rescue dog that we got at 11 months and Niki is a 13 year old Golden Retriever. Picture is featured in Respectful Retrievers. Woo Woo I am so proud.

  • Haley, my golden Retriever, has several toys but the red ball is her favorite. The only time she wants to put it down is when she eats! / I have been having some action/focus problems and trying to work them out with the help of Haley. She is very well trained and will sit until I am in position with my camera and ready for her to run toward me. We have done this repeatedly during the last few days in the front yard. I couldn’t ask for a better model! / THe first day I tried it, I had both dogs in the yard. My other one, who isn’t so well trained, mostly just got in the way or ran in the opposite direction so decided working with Haley only was much better idea. /

  • Eight chocolate Lab pups like to pile on one another, despite a lot more room on the pillow. They’re now six-weeks old. We’re lucky to have friends who want weekly or bi-weekly photos of them for conformation decisions. Nikon D200 and a Nikkor 70-300mm, 82mm, at f/5 and 1/60 sec, -3ev, IS0 200, speed light SB800. Monopod. Converted from RAW (14 bit) to jpeg using Capture NX 2. Unedited. And rotating on their chubby little legs around the food bowl /

  • This is my two rescused dogs, Harley and Julie. Julie’s left ear is wet, because Harley likes to take her ears in his mouth. He works it around in his mouth, and gets her so wet. Harley is a golden retriever/australian shepherd, with some chow. Julie is a black lab/flat coated retriever mix. We adopted Harley at six years old, and Julie was 4 year old. Featured in: All Soft and Cuddles Group 06-14-09 / Your Accepted Group 06-15-09

  • My two Labs, Bentley and Harley, retrieving a stick on Grace Bay Beach in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Canon PowerShot SX110IS Processed with CS4 to reduce the highlights from the sun on the water.

  • Highly detailed but enjoyable piece to produce. I was originally going to call this Incognito, as a reaction to always being encouraged or commissioned to make the subject matter stand out – but they looked so at ease and comfortable in their chosen setting that I decided to emphasise that aspect instead. Medium: Colouredpencil crayon / Size: A4

  • One of the most popular breeds in the USA, is the Labrador Retriever (also Labrador, or Lab for short). They are loyal, loving, affectionate and patient, making great family dogs. Hershey, the chocolate lab, is huge, but he has the sweetest friendliest personality one can think of. He loves everyone, and everyone loves him. Laminated Print /

  • A little late in putting this in, on 11/20/09 we had Harley three years. We adopted him when he was 6 years old. He is a Golden Retriever/Austrian Shepard mix, maybe even a little Chow in there also. Before getting with us, he would have a home for awhile, then lose it again an back to the shelter. Well Harley is finally home, everyone one who knows him says he has finally come full circle. / Harley is home where he belongs, FOREVER! Featured in phoDOGraphy 11/24/09
