“The Guardian, A Portrait Of A Black Lab” is a signed,original, pastel and prismacolor pencil drawing. “Custom Pet Portraits”is another area of my art work that I always return to and over the years I have helped preserve many a memorie for my buyers of the “Best Friends” that are still living or have passed over the rainbow bridge. This fellow was actually rescued by a friend and a copy of the portrait was donated to the shelter. Mandy is about 5 months in this photo and Maddie is about 2 years. This was taken back in April 2008. (Texas)

Eight chocolate Lab pups like to pile on one another, despite a lot more room on the pillow. They’re now six-weeks old. We’re lucky to have friends who want weekly or bi-weekly photos of them for conformation decisions. Nikon D200 and a Nikkor 70-300mm, 82mm, at f/5 and 1/60 sec, -3ev, IS0 200, speed light SB800. Monopod. Converted from RAW (14 bit) to jpeg using Capture NX 2. Unedited. And rotating on their chubby little legs around the food bowl /

My Friend’s Lovely Black Lab…....He got her about 6 months ago just to look after for a few weeks then ended up having her as part of the family now…....Jodie’s ex-owner had been feeding her up for years on anything and left her in the house all day…..poor wee thing , she was overweight and unhappy,but now she is so healthy, stays next to the beach and is so happy. /
