This was taken last year, after we had a lot of snow, in our back yard. I love the look on Harley’s face. It looks like a snowball is coming at him, but it’s not. Kay and I adopted Harley two years ago. He is a golden retriever/australian shepherd with some chow. He is now eight years old. Disclaimer: No real snowballs were used in the making of this image. Only a snowflake in front of the lens.

Golden retriever lost in thought – is he thinking about birds, his owner, or maybe dinner?
Gem slowed down for a fraction of a second when I took him out for a walk by the pond. I love the lighting in this one. :o) / Nikon D40
Golden light, gleam in his eye, golden boy, love unending. Canon 40D, taken with late afternoon light reflected off the spiky coat of our handsome yellow lab; it was the light that first made me stop in my tracks.
