I have added my work “Teddy” to my tee collection. Maybe a nice Christmas present for someone….?
A different look for Teddy, our dog, and a subtle use of text size. The verbose text at the top was made smaller to have the eye drawn to the dog and the wording of the “love me” line under the dog. The intent is to make people wonder if the owner is talking about the dog or themselves, until they look more closely at the small text. I would appreciate feedback to let me know if it is successful.
Another tee with Teddy, but with a different twist. The verbose text at the top was made smaller to have the eye drawn to the dog and the wording of the “love me” line under the dog. The Labrador Retriever is one of several kinds of retriever, a type of gun dog. The Labrador is widely considered the most popular breed of dog in the world. There is some confusion in the naming of the early breed; the Labrador Retriever was originally called the St. John’s dog, or lesser Newfoundland, but these were also considered distinct breeds by other sources. Other origins suggested for the name include the Spanish or Portuguese word for rural/agricultural workers, Portuguese “lavradores” or Spanish “labradores,” and the village of Castro Laboreiro in Portugal whose herding and guard dogs bear a striking resemblance to Labradors. Still others say it was named after the territory of Labrador in Canada in error, or since the name Newfoundland was already taken by the larger breed.

Most female dogs have their first estrous cycle between 6 and 12 months, although some larger breeds delay until as late as 2 years. Females experience estrous cycles biannually, during which her body prepares for pregnancy, and at the peak she will come into estrus, during which time she will be mentally and physically receptive to copulation.( wikipedia.org)
This wonderful creature is one of the main focal points in the current North American political playground. Wolves are incorrectly perceived as a threat to man and livestock. Misinformed individuals including some otherwise educated politicians believe wolves should be eliminated. Wolves are not the threat, Man is! We destroy the land wolves inhabit then we wonder why these great animals seek out food in farmers fields, towns and cities. Wolves need to be protected. My goldie was laying in a patch of sun, and her fur and beautiful brown eyes were all, well, sparkling. And when I told her so, I couldn’t help but laugh…after all, that’s one of the “plots” in that ridiculous book Twilight. (Forgive my opinion.) So I had to make this shirt. After all, Goldens are more handsome and far more tangible than fictional vampires. Golden Retriever image is Public Domain clipart.

Well he wouldn’t wear polka dots, or put dye in his hair, and he certainly wouldn’t make rap music to put in a movie with a bunch of turtles! Thats for sure!
