Our french bull terrier, Ebo, cannot swim because of his body shape. I have had to personally rescue him twice, while I was fully clothed! He still rides in our boat like a pro. We are in the process of getting a life vest for him.

I painted this last summer for dear friends. They constructed a koi pond to enjoy during the summer and wanted it preserved in paint so it would last them the winter months as well. There are two shadows overlooking the pond, the two big black dogs who live there, too. Those beautiful girls seemed to love watching the fish! 2007 / mixed media
