  • My beautiful baby, Missy. She’s Chocolate Lab and German Shephard even though she only looks lab. She was abused when we got her and it took a while to get her to realize there really is love in this cruel world…..anyway this is her gorgeous eye. hehe

  • Season’s Greetings.

  • Okay, couldn’t help it so I’m adding our dog Maggie’s eye which I also took today while taking photos of the kids. She has the most amazing coloured eyes for a dog so I had to add it…. Enjoy!

  • Two old English Sheepdog Puppies.

  • Doggy Bone by Lyuda. / lavrentyeva.com

  • 8×11 inches, watercolor with gouache, 2008 / I painted this today (24th April) – it’s a portrait of my partner Mike and I with our cat Tom and dog Ziggy. It’s a present for Mike’s birthday tomorrow. I got him to pose for the photo I used by telling him an old friend had been in touch after many years and wanted to see a picture of us, which is sort of true LOL. Of course getting the animals to sit still was a bit of a nightmare but it all worked out in the end

  • This is my brother’s dog and she is a 10 year old golden retriever. She is such a sweetie and what poses she had for me. She is such a sweet dog and now showing signs of aging not only on her cute face, but has hip dysplasia. Such great moments to catch since they are like family. This was caught at our families beach house over the 4th of July as she was soaking some rays by the door.

  • THANKS SO MUCH TO RED BUBBLE / FOR FEATURING THIS ON THE HOME PAGE / 11th September 2008 / ...it was featured for about 5 minutes!!! / then bumped off for some reason… / but it WAS THERE!!! LOL!! ..it seemed a good idea at the time (apparently)... my daughter taking our dog, Doris (aka FattyBoomBah) for a walk on her blades…. i rounded the corner to be met with this scene!!! heh THRU MY LENS CALENDAR – now rolled over to 2010 / ♥ Other Family Pics ♥

  • My son Dean and our beautiful Jacky – sharing a precious moment just sitting beside me on the floor while i was working at my desk…Dean took off overseas for 3 months this year and sadly jacky died while he was gone (3wks before he got back) :-( ...i was SO happy i had my camera (Nikon D70) on the desk that day.. as i turned to say something and just caught this spontaneous moment…jacky would often put his paw on Dean’s shoulder when they sat together…they grew up together and really were best mates…♥ Jacky’s rose—> / ~ / ♥ Other Family Pics ♥ / ♥ Other BW Pics ♥

  • Prisma colored pencils

  • This picture made by 1930 model of Voigtlander 6×9 Folding Camera. / I took this picture in June 1974 at a dog show in Vitebsk (republic of Belarus in former USSR). It was a very cold summer day no more that 10 degrees. The sitting lady in white jacket was the owner of the dog in the the picture. I was amazed at their resemblance and took the photo. Everybody’s attention is on another dog right behind the front one. This obscure dog misbehavior had attracted attention of onlookers.

  • Little star wanted in on the conversation with some friends. She often jumps up on one of the free dinning room chairs.. I happened to glance over and found this. She knows she’s not supposed to put her nose on the table lol. She was sufficiently busted by mom lol. i looked at her and said” and what do you think your doing? she flicked her eyes at me and laid down on the chair with a whine lol

  • Gem and Twinkie think they are siblings. After a very long (and very hyper) play time they decided to be kind and pose for me. We were being lazy on the couch in my bedroom and it was one of those moments that I glanced over and saw this and ran for the camera. Such sweet babies. :o) / Twinkie is our Kitty that my son rescued from his ex-wife. (who wanted him to destroy him) :( / Nikon D40. 55-200mm Nikkor lens Does anyone have suggestions on how I can avoid the evil eye (lol) that the flash causes in pets or animals? / Thanks CJ for helping me resolve this issue!!

  • This (far left) cup has been travelling around the world – who knows where it is now. Here (an old rectory in Glebe, Sydney). I’ve tried to create a disparate collection of cups (different backgrounds, histories, journeys or purposes) while they have a core similarity, connection or raison d’etre.

  • Even dogs need cat naps :) This is our new puppy Levi, he’s a Shih Tzu . He is also blind. We rescued him from someone who didnt have the time or resources to take care of him. We just love him. all proceeds will be donated to the Humane Society nikon d80 / f/5.6 / 1/40 / ISO 200 / tamron 55-200mm / 60mm length

  • this is my adorable son and our dog – the two of them have such a lovely bond it is really sweet to see and i think this captured it really well, but i can see why they say working with animals and children is not always the easiest thing to do… taken with a nikon D80 + 50 mm 1.4 nikkor lens on a tripod with a flash and soft box (over the flash) ISO: 100 / f/stop: f/1.4 / shutter speed: 1/250

  • This is the newest member of our family – Belle. She’s a fox terrier X jack russell and very very cute and probably the most spoilt person in the house.
