I have always felt the overwhelming qualities of the city of London. Everything is on such a large scale that it really does invoke a sense of the sublime. The typical skyline of docklands is in this category and by using movement the skyline has almost Human qualities.

I’m heading back to Hobart for a few days this week and it reminded me that I haven’t added some of my favourite photos from our pre-Christmas trip last year. This is my favourite spot in Tasmania. Mostly because I am a real foodie and fell in love with the many wonderful restaurants that line the waterfront. Taken from Constitution dock, Hobart Tasmania

The Bundeena Wharf after sunset. People catch a 70 year old ferry to cross to Cronulla. The only otherway out is by a 30 minute car drive through the Royal National Park. / I used a 2-8 stop Vary BD filter on my Canon 5D with 16mm-35mm Lwide zoom. Tripod and 30 second exposure at F8 / There was some nice white light for the forground from a standard light behind me.
