The Compact Cassette, often referred to as audio cassette, cassette tape, cassette, or simply tape, is a magnetic tape sound recording format. Although it was originally intended as a medium for dictation, improvements in fidelity led the Compact Cassette to supplant reel-to-reel tape recording in most non-professional applications. Its uses ranged from portable audio to home recording to data storage for early microcomputers. Between the early 1960s and early 2000s, the cassette was one of the two most common formats for prerecorded music, first alongside the LP and later the Compact Disc. The word cassette is a French word meaning little box.

T-shirt in honour of Che’s recent victory in the Dead Revolutionary DJ Championships. Che took out Karl Marx in the final with a combo of slick mixing and funky Latin infused house which proved more crowd friendly than Marx’s uncomprimising industrial techno and three deck wizardry. Trying to make a simple design pointing to the 4 main elements of hip hop. If it was not for hip hop, id never have done graffiti. If I didn’t enjoy graffiti so much I doubt id be doing design today. / But I dont care much for most hip hop these days….but pay respect to the 80s stuff always cos it meant so much to me.

We used to have one of these when I was a wee one and it was my first hands on introduction to electronic music. Also, back in the day… the Stylophone was promoted by none other than Rolf Harris! Enjoy. Brother Adam Youtube Video .

Taken at Seneca Lake in New York state taken by Lina Paul and Dj We all met for the day at Watkins Glen State park. Afterward we tried to capture the sunset on Seneca Lake but we were late. Lina, was sneaky when taking this because I had no clue what she was doing and she was so excited that I didn’t move. LOL
Deadmau5 (pronounced “Deadmouse”; real name Joel Zimmerman) is a progressive house and electro house producer from Toronto, Canada. ‘Deadmau5’, Zimmermans’ DJ name, comes from an incident where a mouse crawled into his computer and died. ‘Dead Mouse’ was too long for an IRC login name, so he abbreviated it to be the “leet speak” spelling “Deadmau5”.
