  • The Existential Divide / The more observational of you will remember I put this up awhile ago. And it’s back, slightly different, added text and white not black. I worked on a version with some more emphasis on text woven through it after some people I trust gave some advice. However I went back to a slightly more simplified version as I think that it really shouts on it’s own. That the crisp stark iconic impression of a barcode combined with the ever-so-recognisable, and yet never actually seen in this way, map of the world, cause more avenues of thought than one can reasonably handle without a stiff drink. / But now I’m doing that weird ranting thing about my own work which I normally try and avoid, I like it, and really that’s all that fucking matters. Where’s the whiskey?

  • This is an image representing the cover up of emotion. So many people put on the face of beauty and happiness but inside are rotting and hating. They hide this hate and destruction with a painted face of joy. This is not to be seen as ‘demonic’ in any way. The original picture was taken by liquid-venus Comments and critiques are welcome. Layers: 17 / Hours: 7

  • Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Country Road on way to Mann River Nature Reserve Nestled amongst magnificent mountain scenery east of the Great Dividing Range in the north of New South Wales, is a lovely and little-known part of the Mann River. It is an area of great interest to naturalists, bushwalkers and photographers. The park is located 48 km east of Glen Innes, 129 km west of Grafton. Turn off the Gwydir Highway onto the old Glen Innes-Grafton road. Take this road between the park and Grafton for a scenic alternative, however it includes 120 km of unsealed road not suitable for caravans. Old Grafton Road, Rural New South Wales, Australia.

  • Divided Planet
    by Angela Harburn

    US$4.16–US$95.00

Who would have believed that here in this 21st Century humanity would still be suffering turmoil and conflict! Perhaps the consequences of our acts on ‘The Blue Planet’ may be just too much for her to bear…? / Created by Photo manipulation and filter work in Photoshop. My thanks to the following contributors for their stock images and photoshop brushes:- NASA for The Blue Marble / Sirranon of Deviant Art for Scissors / Stephanie Shimerdla for Clouds and Water Brushes Shimerdla How it was made:- / I used the Flaming Pear Flexify filter to alter the shape of the planet earth – Input – Equirectangular, Output – Quasar, Glue – Pin Light. / Create reflection with FP Flood Filter. / Make a cutout of the Scissors Stock Photo using the Extract Filter, Eraser and History Brush in Photoshop – create new layer for Scissors (by dragging it onto the Earth Background Layer and then resize and position them to appropriate place. Use the eraser to remove parts where they need to be behind the ‘Pinched Earth’. / Use Layer Style to create reflective edges and shadows on the scissors themselves. / New Layer – use Water Brush – in white in correct position. Arrange Layer to go behind the scissors. Use Layer Style to give reflective appearance. Use the Smudge Tool to merge the base of the water into the reflection. / New Layer – Add Clouds with Photoshop Brush – again in white colour and then use Layer Blending and Style to get desired effect – take the opacity down to 50%. / Defringe Layers in turn with Matting Command and then Flatten Image.
