Distant Drums. Fractal art by M. A. Duhaime
The Washington Monument with a backdrop of lightning. The original is a slide with an exposure of approx. 20 mins at f.16. I can rescan the original w/o the crop if there is a need. There are seven strikes in the post series. / Kodak slide film.
Terrain constructed and textured in Vue 6 Infinite – custom sky & clouds – I was going for the effect of the cloud “spilling” over the mountain to the right… Enjoy!

Made with Apophsyis… an arch to the past
Dolphins diving into the deep blue water!!
Another “cosy” foggy morning….
Taken from Castle Eden (in County Durham) of surrounding landscape and farmlands. You may be able to spot the sea behind the trees near the centre of the image. I used Adobe Photoshop to enhance this image into a monotone.

distant longing heartfelt sorrow hoping today’s pain fades tomorrow wishing the past to feel less real than present numbness wishing memories away on tomorrow’s stars knowing when all recollections are lost you still are there haunting my todays with promises broken a lifetime ago “yesterday’s ghosts continue to haunt many of us… the only way to exorcise them from our souls is to live in the love of today…” / Love, / Adrena
