in my lucky life, I’ve been invited to stay on holidays with lovely people who had a place in the hills of Byron. One of the best times of my life. So peaceful.

View of a mountain the day after it snowed.
This is exactly what it says on the tin – it was chucking it down and extremely windy and you could see the rain in the distance! Again, this was taken on holiday in North Wales.

The light was so beautiful in the narrows today. Wading up river was well worth it once I hit this spot in the hike. I looked back to see the light playing a wonderful trick against the red wall, illuminating the entire passage beyond where I was standing. The narrows actually supports an abundance of plant life. The sandstone actually ‘absorbs’ water over the years and the many walls are dripping with water. If you look throughout the picture you can find many plants poking their way out of random spots along the rock. Zion National Park – The Narrows
Early days, the fire as died down, the rains have started, soon plants will take seed, life will find this tiny atoll in this vast ocean. all this knowing that the volcanic forces are still at work just below. We have still not named the planet above
