This beautiful image of the snow leopard was taken at Marwell wildlife park, it captures the texture of the cats fur, a lovely picture to have as a print, one of my favourites.
One of my favorite places to shoot….caught it by night….opened up the shutter used some flash lights…and began to experiment
I’ve always loved black and white photography, but lately my love for it has increased even more so! This is a favourite of mine as it combines my love of B&W with my other love of being by the seaside, there’s nothing like a walk across the beach to blow the cobwebs away!! / (This is at a small coastal village called St Bee’s in Cumbria)

These days lead to beautiful sundowns… / The dark days of December lead to families hibernating into cozy homes of light.
Great Sand Dunes National Park, once again…a magnificent day to shoot…quiet and peaceful, sort of spiritual! The largest sand dunes in the country rising to over 750 ft. The sand dunes are also home to six endemic insect species, found nowhere else on earth, one being the Great Sand Dunes Tiger Beetle. The Great Sand Dunes National Park is surounded by high moutain peaks over 14,000 ft (Mt. Blanca) and the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, and the San Juan mountain range. The sand dunes have not shifted a great amount since the 1800’s, comparing photographs taken then, and now. The prevailing winds seem to counter balance each other making the dunes relatively unchanged. Just under the top surface of sand, is a moist layer, so as the winds blow, the top layer is removed, leaving behind a stable moist layer. We have the joy of seasonal streams that flow, bringing an unexpected sight in this high desert, and the enjoyment of sand castle competitions! http://www.nps.gov/grsa/

I took this photo of the bridge which leads to Grand Isle, Louisiana, which is a barrier island between the Louisiana coast and the Gulf of Mexico. I thought the quotation by Hans Nouwens went well with the photo.
