I read about Myron’s statue (450 BC) of the discus thrower as a child… Later I studied Modern Greek at university because of it :) Now I’ve finally managed to capture an image of it that I like. I have it in color as well, but I think b&w gives it a more ancient look.

This photo started life as a discus fish photo, then met my software and Photoshop.

This is a photograph I took of the ferris wheel at Melbourne. I slowed the shutter speed down so it took the picture over a period of 4 seconds. I know there are many photos of this kind but I was merely playing around with my camera that night and decided to embrace the slowing-of-the-shutter-speed movement. I also lacked a tripod so I decided to place the camera on the ground and stick a piece of bark under it to prop it up on an angle.
