  • Photographic based digital montage, 2007 (no 2 from series of 3 re-worked). Shot two seperate models & P/S combined them. I also draw in & enhanced part of the headpeice, the body, the dress, added a fringe to the face, hid the eyes, made the features more angular, blew up the lips, created cheekbones, reworked the branches, filtered wallpaper effects, extended the chandelier, added lacework/flower elements, desaturated the lot & added a sepia tone. Approximately 50 Photoshop layers.

  • Photographic based digital montage, 2007 (1 from series of 6 – redesigned from 2004/5 Japanese Series). Re-worked combining two from the series. I shot the tree, flowers & combined them in P/S with drawn elements & filtered the lot. Approximately 50 Photoshop layers. Generally I tire of my artwork yet still love this series to this day.

  • Treasured Discoveries
    by Paul Tupman

    US$5.32–US$121.60

This is a shot of the well known Treasury of Petra, “The Rose City”, in Jordan. It was caught just at the end of the day as the sun was setting, the crowds dispersing and the camels resting! Of all the things I have seen, this is definately a highlight. The feeling I got as I walked down the narrow siq and got a first glimpse of the Treasury from between the rocks is one I’ll never forget!

  • Discovery at the Beach
    by Elizabeth Bravo

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Watercolor painting. 140lb Montval Paper. / This painting was done with a lot of wet on wet to start. I lifted color and actually sanded with a moist but almost dry paper towel. I used a dental tool to remove specks bringing out the impression of ocean spray. I took several photos of these three girls at the beach in Carmel. It was the first time that I really had fun with my telephoto lens. They had no idea that I was there so I was able to capture the fun that they were having being at the beach. My intent was in taking photos of my niece and nephew, also great captures, but this was a fun photo to do as a painting.

  • A Symbolic Journey
    by Unseen

    US$4.99–US$114.00

A journey is a symbol of transition, change or evolution which is expressed in countless myths and legends where a hero undertakes a journey beset with physical and moral trials. In psychology a journey may symbolise the quest for self-discovery. To my sister with thanks for all her support, care and love. ~ You have to leave the city of your / comfort and go into the wilderness / of your intuition…...what you will / discover will be wonderful . What / you discover will be yourself ~ Alan Alda LARGE VIEW PLEASE One Of The Locals !! / Grampians ‘Geriwerd’ Np, Victoria Australia, the view from the Chimney Pots looking Sth towards ‘Dunkeld’. Olympus 570uz on Panoramic mode stitched in camera This was a walk we were’nt actually planning on doing but the lady at the info help desk in Dunkeld said it was worth the trip, ..........she failed to tell us that it took over two hours of rock climbing in parts to get up there, and l would have to admit l got very close to parking my butt and not going any further, but after a bit of perserverence made it to the top, it was worth it…................ The grading of this walk is ‘hard’ and recommended only for experienced hiker/climbers {she forgot to tell us that too} We now have a map of all the climbs in the area and l am going to purchase some decent shoes to do the next one !

  • At the Beginning of the Busselton Jetty is a Discover Centre that has arts and crafts as well as a small museum dedicated to the jetty. This photo was taken at sunset while I was chasing rainbows was hoping the rainbow would make it down to cross the jetty no such luck but the sunset was great . Extending almost two kilometres out over Geographe Bay, the heritage listed Busselton Jetty is the longest timber jetty (pier) in the Southern Hemisphere. The jetty is situated in the seaside resort town of Busselton, the northern gateway to the Margaret River Wine Region . The 142 year old jetty has been ravaged by both fire and cyclone. It exists today thanks to the support of the local community and the thousands of visitors who choose to stroll its length, fish, swim, scuba dive and snorkel. The first railway in Western Australia was located a few kilometres east of the Busselton Jetty. The boatshed style Interpretive Centre, built 50 metres off shore, allows visitors to glimpse the jetty’s rich past and exciting future. Entry is free, and along with exhibits of history, the marine environment and art, the Centre houses an unique range of souvenirs. Described as Australia’s greatest artificial reef, the Busselton Jetty is host to awe inspiring, vividly-coloured tropical and sub-tropical corals, sponges, fish and invertebrates. The Underwater Observatory is quickly becoming one of Western Australia’s major eco tourism attractions. Located 1.8 kilometres towards the end of the Jetty, the Underwater Observatory has been designed to accommodate up to 40 people at one time. Descending eight metres beneath sea level, visitors can view the amazing corals and marine life through 11 viewing windows, located at various levels within the observation chamber. more infomation at : www.busseltonjetty.com.au other images by cozmist: / Busselton Jetty Images / Christmas Cards / Dogs / Birds / Scenery / Creatures
