Military Museum, Belgrade, Serbia The Belgrade Fortress stands on the hill overlooking the mouth of the river Sava. It was gradually built from the 1st to the 18th century as a fortified defense complex. Today the Fortress is a specific museum of Belgrade history. This morning I rose to create from a place of peace and hope. / I made this piece from more layers of my own original photos than I could even keep up with! (5×7 Mixed Media on Cardstock) I used left-over green scaps to make the background,then added butterflies & art stickers of portraits w/people that blended in well with the all the greenery. I also used decorative-edge scissors.
