This is another view of the road that leads to my house…..or…deeper in the woods if you go the opposite way… The dirt road is naturally a rich reddish brown color..and although it complemented the color of the supple pines…I felt that presenting this image in a desaturated or black and white image would draw your eye along the path of the road more easily… / / I feel so very honored that Simon Mears has found t song lyrics to attach to this image!!! Thank you so much!!! The top bush picture is a collaboration between Sam Cole-Surjan and I. Taken in Tolmey, near Mansfield Australia. Sam supplied the print and I twiddled with it. Shot this at one of my most favourite places – Tucson, Arizona…. the barren landscape just speaks volumes to me and the discarded fighter jet engines prove the perfect antithesis to the landscape.
