a protest of reality television. like, none of it is real, so why do we call it reality.
With the new year upon us, I am taking this opportunity to come clean. You see I have taken all credit for my photos. This is dishonest because I have an art director as a partner. You can see her here reviewing what she considers the best picture I have ever taken. She has forgiven me for this, I hope you find it in your heart to do the same.
Ever wished that you’d do something so monumental with your life that someone might someday make a movie about you? No I’m not like that, I like the irony of doing everyday things in a Tee-shirt that has some well dressed chap asserting to the world that this movie will get made. I know the white clip on piece at the bottom is supposed to be the date but for two reasons I swapped it with where the Director’s name usually goes. 1. From a communication point of view I wanted “A movie about me” and “Someday” next to each other. 2. I wanted a white space where the wearer could write their favourite Director’s name in permanent marker. Hell I wasn’t gonna decide who Directed all your movies, / Mattman

Inspired By Funeral Advertising: “The Funeral Director” was inspired by the unusual and quite often eerie advertising employed by mortuaries to sell death. These selling strategies often incorporate vintage images of past undertakers who have long since died themselves. To add to this morbidity, some of these death adverts go as far as to list the death year of these particular directors. [Leading Soundtrack During Creation: Alkaline Trio – Agony & Irony]

Dead Meat was the name of the film and as young as he looks and was, still does, in 2003 he was directing his first feature film a micro-budget horror flick funded by the Irish Film Board. The movie centred around the premise that cattle who got mad cow disease more than went mental they in fact became homocidal flesh eating zombies! The film was shot on location in the wet lands of Leitrim and Roscommon. Zombies were also hired en-masse from this locale for sandwiches and tea.
